Offer online brand protection to your clients
For intellectual property and corporate law firms: brand monitoring and takedown for your client portfolio, without building a technical team.
Why it makes sense for your firm
A recurring service for your portfolio
Clients who already registered their brand with the firm get an ongoing protection service, without the firm having to build a technical team.
The next step after registration at INPI
After registering the brand at INPI (Brazil's trademark office), the next step is protecting its use online: domains, profiles, images and ads that pretend to be the brand.
The client relationship stays with the firm
The firm talks to the client and decides together with them. Patentiq works behind the scenes.
How it works
- A single login with all the brands of the firm's clients.
- Monitoring of lookalike domains (searched every day), social media and images. Paid search ads and marketplaces are available as add-ons.
- A decision queue ordered by risk, with the score and the reason for each finding. The firm decides together with the client.
- Sealed evidence, with an integrity code and a timestamp, ready for a notice or a lawsuit.
- Takedown handled by Patentiq, or support for firms that prefer to run the request themselves.
Reports with your firm's identity
The diagnosis and the follow-up PDF reports can be issued without the Patentiq brand, under the firm's name. Today, Patentiq prepares these reports for the firm.

Frequently asked questions
Who talks to the end client?
The firm. Patentiq only talks to the client if the firm asks.
What about confidentiality and the LGPD?
As a rule, the firm's client, who owns the brand, decides on the monitoring (controller); the firm acts on their behalf and Patentiq as the processor. The roles are set out in the partnership agreement. (LGPD is Brazil's General Data Protection Law.)
Does the client see the Patentiq brand?
Only if the firm wants: the platform login belongs to the firm, and the reports carry the firm's name. In a takedown, the request to the platforms is made in the name of the brand owner or of whoever holds their power of attorney.
Who signs the power of attorney for the takedown?
The brand owner authorizes the firm or Patentiq, depending on who will run the request.
Can the firm run the takedown itself?
Yes. Patentiq delivers the evidence package (captures, integrity codes and timestamps) so the firm can send the notice or file the lawsuit. If the firm prefers, Patentiq runs the request.
