Takedown request with sealed evidence
When you mark a finding as fraud, Patentiq prepares and sends the takedown request, with the evidence stored beforehand.
Sealed evidence
- A screenshot of the page as it was at the time of capture.
- An integrity code (SHA-256) that changes if any detail of the file changes.
- A timestamp that records when the capture was made.
The request
- Sent by Patentiq to the domain registrar, the hosting provider or the social network, with your authorization.
- With the evidence, the trademark registration and the reason for the request.
- You follow each step on the platform.
After the request
- We check the address after the request to see if it went offline.
- If it comes back online, the case goes back to review.
- The decision to remove is made by whoever receives the request; Patentiq makes sure it arrives complete and well documented.
Takedown is contracted separately: per case, as a monthly package or as a monthly subscription.
